A prototype version of the code ran on Windows Vista RC2 quite happily for a week non stop. I've just found that the latest version, on a Windows XP system, has got stuck after a day. I'm not sure what causes these problems, it may be an auto-update mechanism at the university, but if you have such problems I'd love to know about them.
