I've just posted Version 1.1. This has brighter colours and fixes the bug where changes to the settings were only saved when you started a display.

Hey Rob, the programs very cool and makes for a nice screensaver of my flickr pictures on my secondary display. I do have one request for a future version though. The ability to turn off the RSS feature.
I tried setting the news frequency to something stupidly high so news doesn't get posted much but you've limited it to a max value of 20 and I tried not entering an RSS feed and the program complained at me about that too!
