I think (but I'm not sure) that SSL support is in version 2.0. I must admit (and this is true) that I didn't write that chapter. I think if you ask here:

I'm reading your great, .net micro, book and i didn't understand if System.Net present in .Net Micro had SSL support.
Chapter 6 - The System.Net Namespace
"That is, this namespace omits higher-level functionality such as HTTP, FTP, and SMTP support, in addition to authentication and secure communications (Secure Socket Layer, or SSL)."
I understood that is possible to use SSL, but i don't understand how! Can you help me?
