Sorry, I'm not well up on Java on Mobile Devices. You might find the book "Micro Java Game Development" by Fox and Verhovsek (ISBN 0-672-32342-7) worth a look. It has some nice stuff on design for performance with J2ME and device limitations.

I am a mobile games developer(J2ME). I have developed some games.
I am planning to write a Game Engine for isometric games. (Maze based)
Could anyone suggest me some links where can i find more information about this? I want to get more ideas regarding the design and constraints.
