You can use the link to contact me in case of any cancellations, and you can still register for the conference if you have an alternative means of transport.</strong></p><p>Slide 7 is a development conference aimed at students who want to use the latest technology in their projects.&nbsp; It all happens on the 18th of June at Microsoft UK Headquarters, Thames Valley Park in Reading. It is being sponsored by Electronic Arts, the biggest games company in the world.&nbsp; Bing Gordon, EA&rsquo;s Chief Creative Officer will be speaking there, which would be worth the trip on its own. But&nbsp;you get to play loadsa games and there's free beer too.....</p><p>&nbsp;Here are the full details: </p><p><strong>VENUE: </strong>&lsquo;<a href="http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/exhibitions/gameon/index.asp">Game On</a>&rsquo; exhibition, Science Museum, South Kensington, London </p><p><strong>THEME: </strong>&lsquo;Play more games&rsquo;&hellip;..over 120 to play at the exhibition plus see the history of gaming evolve. </p><p><strong>DATE: </strong>Wednesday 24<sup>th</sup> January. </p><p><strong>EVENT OPENS: </strong>6.30pm (for the early games players) </p><p><strong>PRESENTATION: </strong>Bing talks at 7.30pm (Q&amp;A) </p><p><strong>CLOSES: </strong>10pm </p><p><strong>DRINKS: </strong>Free beer &amp; soft drinks bar </p><p>We will leave the university around lunchtime on Wednesday and return very late on the night (but you can always sleep on the bus).</p><p>If you want to take part in the event, which is open to 2nd year, 3rd year and MSc students,&nbsp; then fill in the form on the <a href="http://www.robmiles.com/travel-registration/">Registration page </a>with your email address and we will get you registered for the event.
