Hey! I have recently worked through the three XNA chapters that you provided for download, and I have to say they were amazing!
I already have a book on C# and XNA, and have worked on several projects already, but your introduction was far more enjoyable, entertaining and interesting. I find the analogies and Great Programmer parts particularity useful, as they help convey sometimes difficult ideas in an easy to understand form. The the way in which it you gives practical uses and step by step instructions is also particularly helpful.
You also feel inclined to add your own ideas to the code, I incorporated code to allow you to decrease the colour values, or clear them, and other forms of vibrations through the controller so you know as you are getting closer to overloading.
What would be cool is when you introduce a new piece of code, such as the if and else statements for example, there was some Pseudo Code of what is happening, similar to how it is represented in the C# books we have on our course.
Thank you for the downloads, and I anticipate the coming chapters and release of the book next year! Where do I pre order!?
